My name is Joel Rivera, and I’ve spent over a decade teaching, coaching, supporting, and learning from adult learners across nonprofits, early education networks, grassroots organizations, and community initiatives.
I’ve seen firsthand how motivated adults want to apply what they learn, but without support after the session, life gets in the way.
I also know this because I’m not just a teacher. I’m a learner too. Right now, I’m in the middle of my doctoral journey in adult learning and leadership, researching the exact problem PostSpark is built to solve:
How do we help adults remember, apply, and sustain what they learn… after the session ends?
PostSpark is the answer I never had, and knew I needed to create.

Adult learning doesn’t fail because of poor teaching. It fails because the after-session environment is broken — or missing — entirely.
We believe:
Learning should live beyond the moment
Follow-through should be gentle, simple, and human
Trainers shouldn’t have to do more work to create meaningful retention
Adults learn best when the experience fits naturally into their real lives
A spark means nothing if we don’t help people carry it forward
